We combine engineering acumen, strong social sciences background and international business partnerships at the service of Amazon communities and Amazon basin, to unlock financing for protected areas conservation and restoration of degraded lands.
Our approach is aligned with the European Union’s emerging Nature Credits architecture: certification of biodiversity outcomes leading to high-integrity, tradable credits. By designing to these guidelines from the start, we aim to future-proof procurement for European corporates as policy and market infrastructure mature over the coming years.
We are developing the first EU pilot programme in emerging markets designed to bring compliance-grade biodiversity credits to market. In partnership with SERNANP, the project is formally structured under Peru’s MERESE framework.
MERESE Registry provides providing legal clarity on roles, safeguards, and auditable reporting. FRONTERRA is in charge of the structuring and implementation of the partnership between the Peruvian Government and RESTORE Fund, ensuring buyers a transparent, government-backed pathway to invest in measurable biodiversity outcomes.
